What it is

A better way to meet your designer obligations.

SDR Generator accepts a project URL, a folder of design drawings, or a set of source PDFs and uses AI reasoning to extract project-specific information, identify applicable hazard categories, assess risk against Australian WHS standards and legislative requirements, and produce a fully structured Safe Design Report.

The report covers the complete required structure - project description, legislative context, key observations, risk register with colour-coded ratings, hazard applicability matrix, hierarchy of controls, and designer sign-off section - in a document that is ready to review and issue the same day.

Critically, reports are generated at the beginning of the design process, not as an afterthought. Identified hazards can inform design decisions while they are still straightforward and inexpensive to resolve.

The process

Three steps. Same-day report.

1

Provide your source material

Supply a project website URL, a set of design drawings in PDF format, or a curated collection of source documents. No special formatting or data entry is required. The AI reads the material in its native form.

2

AI generates a complete draft

SDR Generator reads and synthesises the source material, identifies the project type, applicable hazard categories, and lifecycle stages, then produces a fully structured Safe Design Report anchored to the project context - not generated from generic templates.

3

Expert review and issue

A qualified WHS professional reviews the output, validates risk ratings, and adds any project-specific observations before endorsing and issuing. Because the structure is clear and the references are explicit, focused review takes a fraction of the time a from-scratch report would require.

Report structure

Nine sections. One complete document.

Every SDR Generator report follows the same publication-quality structure - covering every element required for a compliant, professional Safe Design Report.

Who it is for

Three groups.
One shared problem.

SDR Generator is purpose-built for the professionals who carry the legal obligation for safe design - and who have felt the cost of meeting it manually.

WHS and safety consultancies

Firms that produce Safe Design Reports as a core service. SDR Generator eliminates the most labour-intensive part of report production, freeing consultants to focus on expert judgement, client engagement, and design feedback - the work that actually creates value.

Architecture and engineering firms

Designers who carry a duty under WHS legislation on every project they deliver. SDR Generator removes the need to defer SDR production while waiting for consultant availability, and reduces the cost and friction of procuring specialist support for every project regardless of scale.

Principal contractors and developers

Project owners and contractors who need to verify that the design organisations they engage have met their safe design obligations before construction commences. SDR Generator ensures documentation is available, consistent, and current.

Questions

What you need to know.

SDR Generator is built for three primary groups. The first is WHS and safety consultancy practices - firms that produce Safe Design Reports as a core service and need to scale their capacity without proportionally scaling headcount.

The second is architecture and engineering firms who carry a designer's duty under WHS legislation and need to produce SDRs as part of their standard project delivery, but who do not employ in-house WHS specialists.

The third is principal contractors and developers who need to verify that the design organisations they engage have met their safe design obligations before construction commences.

The tool is designed to slot into existing project delivery workflows without requiring changes to how your practice or consultancy is already structured. The input can be as simple as a project website URL, a folder of design drawings in PDF format, or a curated set of source documents.

The output is a formatted HTML file that can be viewed in any browser, shared with a client or contractor, and printed to PDF for formal issue. No specialised software is required. For safety consultancies with established report templates and brand guidelines, SDR Generator can be configured to match house style and legislative preferences for the relevant jurisdiction.

In principle, SDR Generator gives a design professional the structural framework and legislative scaffolding to produce a draft report. In practice, a qualified WHS consultant should review and endorse the output before it is formally issued - the tool is designed to enable that review, not to replace it.

The most effective use of SDR Generator for an architecture firm is as a starting point that is then passed to a safety consultant for a focused review and endorsement - rather than asking the consultant to produce the report from scratch. This changes the economics of the engagement significantly: instead of paying for full report production, the firm pays for expert review and sign-off. Faster, less expensive, and more collaborative.

Pricing is available directly from Dreem Digital and is structured to reflect the value delivered to different customer segments. Safety consultancies accessing the tool for multiple client projects are offered a volume-based subscription model.

Architecture firms and engineering practices requiring periodic access for their own project compliance are offered project-based pricing that aligns the cost of the tool with the cost of the project it supports. Contact us to discuss the arrangement that suits your practice.

Project source material submitted to SDR Generator may contain commercially sensitive information. Dreem Digital treats all project data as confidential and does not use customer-submitted documents or project information for AI model training.

Data submitted via the tool is processed and then deleted within a defined retention period. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request for customers with formal data governance requirements. Enterprise customers with strict data sovereignty requirements should contact us to discuss deployment options.

Contact Dreem Digital via the form on the contact page to discuss your requirements. For consultancy customers, onboarding includes a review of your existing report templates, brand guidelines, and legislative preferences so the tool's output is aligned with your standards from day one.

For architecture firms accessing the tool for the first time, Dreem Digital provides a guided orientation session and a pilot project run-through. Ongoing support is available throughout the subscription period.
